The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Thursday distributed 465 food packages to migrants recently deported from Iran, benefiting a total of 2,790 people in Herat province.

According to SPA, Saudi Arabia’s state news agency, the assistance is part of the kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts in Afghanistan, delivered through KSRelief.

The center provides both healthcare and aid services, and had earlier distributed food to deportees from Pakistan.

In June, KSRelief also offered free treatment to thousands of eye patients in Balkh and Herat provinces.
