Medical sources in Gaza have reported that Israeli forces killed at least 13 Palestinians this morning as they gathered near food distribution centers in the south of the enclave. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, since the introduction of Israel’s new aid distribution mechanism in partnership with the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” on June 6, at least 1,924 Palestinians have been killed and more than 14,288 others injured.
Additional reports confirm that two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on the eastern outskirts of Deir al-Balah, while six others lost their lives in airstrikes across several areas, including the al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, at least four more Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes struck tents housing displaced families west of Khan Younis.
In total, at least 25 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in different parts of Gaza since dawn today.
The escalation comes as Israel presses ahead with its plan to seize Gaza City and force residents into mass displacement toward the south.
